I'm Samantha, California raised, currently living in Los Angeles.
My primary focus is oil painting on canvas. My work is a study of light, color and texture. I use a technique called alla prima painting, wherein the paint is applied wet and blended on the canvas. Each piece is completed within a few hours and allowed to settle as it dries, so the results can be unpredictable. Most of the work on this site is commission based.
